For an individual, tailored approach to education.

My focus would be advocating for recognition of our differences, and less of a one size fits all approach. I will outline some of my current points, but I aim to respond to problems bought to me by other students:

  • More lenience towards students who are late to class due to longer than average commute times.

  • Better avenues of communication from lecturers to students about last-minute timetable changes.

  • In the past, paying for crew has been an option but has since been deemed an unfair advantage. However, I think the time and commitment to networking and to finding people willing to give their labour for free should not be understated as easy. Students with external responsibilities, who have less time for networking, such as those newly immigrated or in full-time work, should be able to state their case for paying their crew to the module tutor on an individual basis.

  • A greater acceptance of different neuro-types in a classroom environment (this one is personal ??).

  • Make sure that gaps in education are filled without judgment, easy access to one on one meetings with lecturers

I'd aim to be friendly and approachable, and work well with the other course rep.
