The University of Gloucestershire Ski and Snow Society is the ultimate home for all snow lovers on campus – whether you’re a seasoned skier, a first-time snowboarder, or just here for the après. We bring together a community of adventurous students who share a passion for the slopes, winter vibes, and great nights out.
Throughout the year, we host regular socials, from pub crawls and bar takeovers to themed parties and winter warm-up nights. These are the perfect way to meet new people and get to know your fellow snow enthusiasts before we head out on the mountains together.
Our biggest highlight of the year is our legendary ski trip – this year we’re heading to Val Thorens, the highest resort in Europe and part of the world-famous Three Valleys. Expect incredible skiing and boarding across endless pistes, breathtaking alpine views, and of course, unforgettable après-ski sessions in the heart of the mountains. Whether you’re there to chase powder or party till sunrise, it’s an experience not to miss.
On top of that, we’ll be running exciting events throughout the year, including movie nights, charity fundraisers, and even dry slope and indoor snow sessions to keep your skills sharp before the big trip.
