The Gloucestershire Gladiators are UOGs American Football team, currently competing in the South West 2 division alongside some of the toughest competition in the country.
Priding ourselves on being one of the most ambitious and tight-knit squads at the uni, we are a team that embarked on one of the greatest turn arounds in University Sports the past two years and setting ourselves up as perennial playoff contenders. As many past players will tell you being part of this team is like being part of a new family, every player is incredibly close which helps the team become a force to be reckoned with every year in the league as we always push for playoffs no matter what.
With the added bragging rights of sending multiple players to the BUCS American Football All-Stars game and also sending some players to play American Football full-time internationally, this team could be the first steps in creating an untouchable sports legacy and even a career.
Almost all of our new recruits every year have never played the sport before or don’t have much knowledge about it. But our top-class coaches will quickly change that as all our rookies every year hit the ground running and quickly bond with the rest of the team.
