Welcome to UoG Rowing Club! You might be a seasoned rower, or you might never have sat in a boat before! Either way, you are welcome to come along, get involved and join our friendly team of rowers.
Our club is open to both recreational rowers who are happy just to paddle out with friends and have fun - all whilst brushing up on some key rowing skills - and the competitive rowers looking to train hard and enter heads, races and regattas (and hopefully win a few, too!). Our several-times-weekly training slots are adapted to the meet the needs of the individual and team, and are complimented with strength and conditioning session led by top fitness professionals. All of our training is put to the test at regular heads, races and regattas, including those organised by BUCS and British Rowing.
Or, just come and join us at one of our regular socials! You can join us on a night out in Cheltenham, or alternatively, if you prefer a reasonable bed time, we always like to have a daytime social to look forward to.
