University isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are its students. The Mature Students’ Society is a welcoming community for students returning to education, balancing study with work, family or other responsibilities, or simply feeling more at home in a mixed-age community. You don’t have to identify as a mature student to join, if the community feels like a good fit, you’ll be very welcome. We hope to offer relaxed coffee mornings and social meet-ups, meals and evenings out, local trips and fun visits, nature and wellbeing walks, gym sessions, talks and workshops to help with university life, guest speakers and activities with other societies, and study groups across Cheltenham and Gloucester. Our aim is simple: friendship, mutual support, fun and a genuine sense of belonging throughout university life.Different paths. Shared experiences. Everyone welcome.
