Congratulations! We are so excited for you to join us this September!

By joining UoG you automatically become a member of the SU (FOR FREE!), and as your SU, we are here to ensure you have a life-enhancing experience whilst you study. The Students’ Union is a registered charity that runs separately to the university. That’s right, we run and govern ourselves, meaning that we can focus on what matters to students 24/7!

We are on hand to offer support and assist you throughout your time living and studying in Gloucestershire. We do this by putting on lots of exciting events, promoting money-saving opportunities, running campaigns and initiatives aimed at keeping you safe, getting you involved in sports and societies, running student rep programmes, promoting volunteering opportunities and much more.  Our goal is to be by your side at every step of your journey, ensuring you have a smooth and enjoyable experience.

We have two weeks packed of loads of events from the OFFICAL UoGSU clubnights in our partner venues to crafting to Drag Bingo - there really is something for everyone. Check out our Welcome website to learn more about What’s On this Welcome, our sports teams and societies and the Students’ Union.
