Want to join a sports team whilst studying at UOG? Then why not join WOMENS HOCKEY!

The University of Gloucestershire Women's Hockey Club accommodates for all levels of skill, whether you’ve been playing all your life or never even touched a hockey stick. We have 1 team that competes in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) league, we can guarantee a place for you here.

Even if you don't play hockey, we are always open to having many social members to join us on Wednedays for our socials where we dress up in fancy dress and other club events throughout the year. We are one happy, loving and supportive family and welcoming of anyone who wants to be part of the club.

UOGWH has had much success over the last year. The first team placed 4th in the Western 2B league we won our 18th consecutive varsity against Worcester. The teams social side is just as successful with a number of charity events, club and family bonding days and a social every Wednesday night, where the girls come together and celebrate the win or condemn the loss from BUCS Wednesday. We’ve had 2 successful tours, one to Proec, Croatia and the other to Bournemouth, where again we proved to be a comical, dim-witted and fun group of hockey girls that the college knows we are.

If this sounds like the club for you, then we would love to hear from you: Check out some of our social media pages, give us a LIKE on our Facebook page, FOLLOW on Twitter and Instagram.
