On other #TEAMGLOS news, members of UoG Dance committee volunteered at Sue Ryder's annual Starlight Hike 10k charity walk on Saturday 17th October. UoG Dance's Community Officer, Seren Rees, shared a few words about the experience: "As volunteers we kept walkers safe, encouraging them along the route and above all helped to create a positive atmosphere. We all had an amazing time encouraging the participants to keep at it, sharing motivational words and most importantly, giving compliments on their bright outfits! We were also given the chance to have conversations with people participating and learn more about them and their stories. We even had the opportunity to talk to the lady running the event! We are proud to say that we had a part in helping the charity raise over £105,000 so far! We were also invited to assist at the event next year,, which has been a brilliant opportunity to connect with the wider community".
