Bianca lobbies for change on all things education. She works with course reps and the Education and Community Sub Council to help share your voice and create change at UoG.

Iffat supports welfare reps and is the lead representative on the lived experiences of underrepresented groups.

The Executive Team leads the Students’ Union at the highest level, setting strategy, ensuring strong governance, and making sure the organisation delivers effectively for students..

Josh leads the Students’ Union strategically and is responsible for overall direction, governance, and ensuring the organisation delivers for students.

Lou oversees day-to-day operations, making sure services run smoothly, resources are well managed, and plans are delivered effectively across the Union.

Student Activities and Communities Manager

Ella oversees the Students’ Union’s clubs, societies and events. She sets the direction for student activities, supports the development of communities across campus, and ensures there are inclusive, engaging opportunities that shape day-to-day student life.

Sports Development Coordinator

Henry leads support for all sports clubs, working closely with them to develop performance, participation and community. He helps clubs compete in BUCS, strengthens the student sport offer, and supports the growth of sport as a core part of student experience at UoG.

Advocacy and Campaigns Manager

Laura oversees all advice, representation and campaigning work across the Students’ Union. She sets overall direction, holds responsibility for how each area performs, and ensures the advice service and democratic work are aligned, effectivley resourced and delivering for students.

Student Adviser

Lucy runs the Advice Service, leading its day-to-day operations and ensuring students receive consistent, confidential and impartial support. She manages casework, oversees service delivery, and makes sure students are properly guided through academic and wellbeing processes at every stage.p>

Student Voice and Campaigns Coordinator

Drew leads on student voice, campaigns, Student Council, and the training and development of student representatives. Drew is responsible for keeping the Union’s democratic structures functioning, supporting officers and reps to be effective, and turning student ideas into organised action.

Central Services

Central Services brings together the teams that keep the Students’ Union running behind the scenes.

Finance and Resources Manager

Anna looks after the Union’s finances, making sure budgets are planned properly, spending is tracked, and everything stays financially healthy and sustainable.

Karen handles the day-to-day finance admin, from processing payments and invoices to keeping records accurate and up to date.

Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator

Isabella builds partnerships and fundraising opportunities, helping bring in extra income and resources that support students and Union activity.

Digitial Marketing Coordinator

James leads on digital marketing, creating content and managing online channels to help share what the Union is doing and connect with students.

Karen supports governance and administration, keeping processes organised, compliant, and making sure all Board of Trusteesminutes are properly recorded
