As a SU we recognise that ongoing events around the world may be affecting members of our student community in different ways. For some, these situations may be deeply personal, distressing, or bring up feelings of worry, grief, anger, or uncertainty.
We want to reassure all students that you are not alone, and that the Students’ Union is here to support you. Whether these events are impacting your wellbeing, your studies, your sense of safety on campus, or your ability to engage fully in university life, support is available.
If you are struggling, need guidance, or would like to talk through any concerns, we encourage you to reach out. This could include academic support, wellbeing support, advice, or simply a conversation about what you’re experiencing.
Our community is made up of students from many backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences, and we are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone feels heard and respected.
If you would like support or don’t know where to start, please contact suadvice@glos.ac.uk or speak to a member of the Students’ Union team. We can help connect you with appropriate support services at the SU or university and discuss options available to you.
