Last week, students across campus came together to elect this year’s Student Council which is the highest student decision-making body in the Students’ Union. The Council holds the SU and its officers to account, shaping priorities and setting the direction for how we represent and lobby the university on your behalf.
This year’s election saw a record turnout, with 364 students casting 864 votes. Your new councillors are now in place and ready to speak up for students across every area of university life, from academic experience to wellbeing, from societies and sports to equality and inclusion.
Together, they’ll help make sure student voices lead the way in how our community grows and improves. You can meet the new team below.
