Last weekend, our Adventure Society celebrated Bonfire Night at the Cheltenham Racecourse, where they enjoyed an incredible display of fireworks and all the cosy November vibes. A group of students braved the cold weather, wrapped up warm and made lasting memories together during one unforgettable night.
The fun didn't stop there, though! Afterwards, they teamed up with our LGBTQIA+ Society to host a lively quiz at the Frog & Fiddle. It was said there was a mix of challenging and unique questions for attendees to get their teeth into!
If you're looking to get involved with Adventure Society, they have a members-only hike up Malvern Hills on Saturday 15th for a 10-mile adventure through beautiful scenery.

Fundraising Update
This week saw our first big fundraising event held at Park Campus for the year. It was American Football's legacy event, Take Me Out - where single men of the committee would try and impress a panel of ladies to get a date to the Isle of Fernandos (sit next to each other in the audience).
It was a fantastic night of fun and laughter, and some top notch talents on display. Not only was it a lot of fun, they also raised over £1,600 across their ticket sales and their raffle - where one of the top prizes was a PS4!
Thank you so much to American Football, as well as Gather & Gather who collaborated on this successful event.

Society Highlight of the week
Mooting & Law Society had a stall at our Housing Fayre last week. They were helping students understand the new changes to the Renters' Rights Act, and supporting us with our campaign "Take Time Before You Sign" - by creating a document that fully explains everything students need to know, in an accessible format! If you'd like to read this, please go to the campaigns section of the SU website so you can also take time before you sign!
