Meet your 2026/27 Full-Time Officer Team and see the 2026 election turnout figures.

Voting closed on Friday after a sunny and bustling week of Hustings, polling booths and campaigning across campuses!
Following the vote count, the Students’ Union is delighted to be able to record a total of 4,008 votes cast by 1,395 students across the voting period of 16th – 20th March.
This is UoGSU’s highest voter turnout for over five years and shows how hard our candidates campaigned and the interest that you as our members took during this elections period. The Students' Union would like to extend a sincere thank you to every student who stood as a candidate in this election and hope that whatever the result was for you, you have had a valuable experience you will take into life post UoG when that comes.
How your Union is led is crucial to ensuring that all our students feel their voice is represented and keeps our Union democratic, so we are delighted that this year’s elections process has received such high engagement.
