Freya Rowley - Activities and Opportunities Officer
This week I’ve been focusing on developing TeamGlos Points, an exciting new initiative to engage our clubs and societies and celebrate their achievements. I also had the chance to record a podcast episode, which was great fun and a brilliant way to share what I’m working on with students. To round off the week, I had a really positive meeting with Bianca and our Gloucester MP, discussing our plans for the year ahead and exploring how he can support the Students’ Union and wider student community.
Bianca Holland - Education and Community Officer
This week’s highlight was a great conversation with Gloucester MP, Alex. He’s really keen to get involved with students, which is fantastic to see, and we’ll be working together to make sure your voices are heard not just here at uni, but in Parliament too.
I’ve also been busy with lots of GlosBound work, including setting up something exciting that I can’t wait to share with you soon! Alongside that, I’ve been pushing forward with Course Rep Accreditation to get it properly up and running. We’ve also been recruiting for SVCO—reading through your applications has been such a joy, and it’s inspiring to see so much passion for student voice across our community.
