Tennis

A massive well done to UoG Tennis for taking on the BUCS Tennis Doubles Championships 2025-26 over the weekend! The event saw both our men’s and women’s first pairs travel to Sunderland for a challenging opening round against Manchester and King’s College London. It was a valuable experience for newcomer Henry and Club Captain Tristan, alongside their returning women’s duo, Rachel and Charlotte. With Tristan and Charlotte saying goodbye to the club at the end of the academic year, the team are continuing to train hard with their eyes set on the Singles Nationals in the New Year.

Lacrosse

Cheltenham Racecourse, one of the club's sponsors this year, invited members for a special day out on Saturday, where 20 players enjoyed an incredible experience at the races. Five members were also invited on Friday for a media day with Rachel Blackmore, the retired jockey and head of Ladies Day. Keen to see what it's like on the other side of the races, Rachel spent the day with the group exploring the racecourse. It was a fantastic opportunity for the club to represent UoG lacrosse and share an unforgettable experience with one of racing's most iconic figures. Well done to you all!
