Week 4 of the BUCS season saw attention turn to the cup rounds, with UoG teams facing some tough opposition. It proved to be a challenging day overall, with Women’s Netball 2s and Men’s Rugby Union narrowly missing out on cup progression. There was reason to celebrate, however, as Women’s Volleyball secured a fantastic 3-0 victory over UWE 2s, claiming their first win in a long time with an impressive performance. With another busy Wednesday around the corner, many UoG teams now prepare for their next fixture of the season.

Interested in helping out at BUCS? This week we speak to Luke Hillier a post graduate student studying Health Psychology MSc.
"Within my studies, I have developed a strong passion for sport and exercise psychology. I am also a recreational member of UoG Netball and help with table officiating at our home BUCS fixtures. Initially, I wanted to try something new, so I put myself forward to get involved. The team and coaches have been really supportive, helping me learn how to score matches and gain a better understanding of the game. Over time, my confidence has grown, and I have found real enjoyment in the role. I would encourage anyone interested in helping out at BUCS to get in touch with the Students' Union, especially if you're passionate about sport but don't want to compete."
