Week 5 of the BUCS season delivered a busy and successful Wednesday for UoG teams. Standout performances included Men's Rugby League, who secured a superb 30-28 victory over Loughborough 2s, and Men's Basketball 1s who claimed a close 79-77 win over Bristol 1s. It was also a fantastic day for both Men's and Women's Football, with the clubs winning three of their four fixtures.

Your Weekly Club News
This week we hear from Lucy Roe, Club Captain of one of our newest clubs, UoG Handball.
"I first played handball at age 11 after being introduced to the sport by my PE teacher, who encouraged me to join Cambridge Handball Club. I went on to play for both the junior and women's teams, as well as the regional and national England Handball academies. I have always enjoyed team sports and joined women's rugby in my first year, which gave me the confidence to start my own handball club. After realising there were interested students, we created a beginner friendly club, focusing on creating a welcoming and inclusive team culture. We've had a great turnout at our training sessions and socials so far and are always looking for new members. We train on Fridays from 17:15-18:15 at Oxstalls Sports Park. If you're interested, send us a DM on Instagram @uoghandball. We'd love to meet you and hope to see you there!"
