Last Wednesday was an incredible day for all of us as we had our Welcome Fayre, and it was a lot of fun! The atmosphere was amazing as societies filled the space. There were students chatting, laughing, and discovering the range of groups they could join. From hobby clubs to cultural and academic societies, there was something for everyone, and it was fantastic to see so many people taking an interest and getting involved. We loved meeting so many new faces and sharing the passion that each society brings to campus life. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the day reminded us just how special our student community is, and it was inspiring to watch students find new opportunities and connections.

Alongside the fun of the Fayre, we also delivered our Student Leaders Training, which was a huge success. We worked together to provide useful, engaging sessions designed to support our student leaders in their roles. It was great to see such enthusiastic participation, with everyone there to learn, share ideas, and develop their skills. The training covered everything from active bystander training, committee information to creative ways of doing events and fundraisers, ensuring that our leaders feel confident and ready for the year ahead.
