Week 2 of the BUCS season was another busy one, with a particularly positive day for football, seeing some excellent performances and results across the board. It's been great to see so many new faces making their BUCS debuts, alongside returning students stepping outside their comfort zones and getting involved in something different.  While there were plenty of positives to celebrate, some tough opposition meant a few teams missed out on valuable points, providing plenty of motivation heading into the coming weeks.

Away from competition, eight of our student club committee members attended the BUCS Football Leadership & Networking Day. The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow student leaders from across the region while taking part in a range of workshops and practical sessions focused on leadership, club management, teamwork and collaboration.

Attendees: Adam Smith, Yasmin Ollis, Abi Nicol, Rugby Goldthorpe, Miranda Smith, Callum Bridge, Daisy Tuttiett, Aleesha Meadlarkin
