Feedback Tools

Voice It / Change It

Make change and share your thoughts

At the Students’ Union, your voice matters. Voice It lets you quickly report concerns or share feedback, and Change It gives you a platform to bring forward ideas that could improve life for the whole student community. Use these tools to shape your UoG experience.

Voice It

What it is

Voice It is a 24/7 online form on UoGSU.com where you flag issues or share feedback so we can route it to the right team and get you an update.

When to use it

Use Voice It when you’ve tried talking to your Course Reps or tutor and need the SU to help push things forward or keep a record.

What to include

Be clear and specific: what’s the issue, where/when it happens, and how it impacts students. Straight facts help us act faster.

What happens next

We log it, send it to the right team, and update you. Your feedback also helps spot patterns across courses and campuses.

Change It

What it is

Change It is the place to propose ideas or motions that improve student life; with enough votes, they go to Student Council for a decision.

What makes a strong idea

Define the problem, who it affects, and what you want the SU or University to do. Check if it’s already been passed.

How voting works

Your idea needs at least 25 upvotes, and 25 more than any downvotes, within 3 months to make the Council agenda.

Tips to build support

Share with coursemates, networks and societies. Keep it simple and focused so people know exactly what they’re backing.

Examples of past ideas
