Another great BUCS Wednesday saw teams go head-to-head with strong opposition, delivering solid performances across a full day of fixtures. A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to coaches, staff, and sports therapy team for their continued support throughout the day.
There were some fantastic performances and achievements across the fixtures. Shout out to Women's Netball 1s, who secured their first win of the season with a hard-fought 44-41 victory over Exeter 2. Congratulations also to Imogen Harris, who was awarded Players' Player following an excellent performance.
Well done to Equestrian for a strong day of competition in Cardiff, to Men’s Football for achieving an exciting 3-5 derby victory against Hartpury and Men's Basketball for continuing their unbeaten run with a win over Bath Spa. Congratulations to Joe Burgess who was named Player of the Match, after a strong effort from tip-off to the final whistle.
A special mention goes to Men's Rugby League for finishing top of the league, after a strong BUCS season. With play-offs and a cup run still to come, the momentum is well and truly behind them. Well done to George Groves for being awarded Man of the Match - what a performance!
