TV and Film Society

OUR SOCIETY:

We are a new society focussed on the enjoyment and experience of TV and film through both making and watching it. Our aim is to give people an opportunity to make friends with those who also take a keen interest in this media, whether they are pursuing it in their university course or not.

Putting on a plethora of social events, from watch-along and quizzes to simple Spoons trips. We take a lot of pride in our efforts to make sure everyone is included in our society decisions, we don’t want any member to feel left out. Info about these events will be posted on our 'Instagram'.

Aiming to offer a wide range of activities, chosen by our society members, including occasional collaborative productions; potential for short films, script/pitch development, and multi-camera studio shows. Along with possible trips to visit television studios as well as television museums, such as; ‘Mailbox’ in Birmingham and ‘BBC100’ in Cardiff.

Our society is open to all, regardless of confidence or ability. You don’t need to be on the TV or Film Production course, or on a creative course at all.

If you ever have any ideas for potential events/activities, please do email or DM us and we’ll try our best to make it happen.
