The deadline is approaching...

The deadline to register to vote is this Monday 20th April!
We recently had the highest student voter turnout in five years for the Full-Time Officr Elections here at UoGSU, you voted for an officer team that you thought could make a real difference to student lives at UoG.
We want all our members to also be engaged in local and national elections and are supporting the latest campaign from NUS 'Turn Up' - We want to make sure that all students are registered to vote and are aware of when and where you can vote for change locally and nationally.
Students make up 10% of voters - enough to change the outcome of elections. The future is in our hands, but only if we Turn Up and vote.
Politicians notice who registers and who shows up at the ballot box. That's why NUS launched Turn Up, the UK's biggest youth and student voter registration campaign - breaking down barriers to make it simple for you to make your voice heard.
The NUS Turn Up hub includes information on registering to vote (including at both your home and University addresses), when you can vote, eligibility to vote in the May elections (local elections in England, Senedd elections in Wales and Scottish Parliament elections in Scotland) and information on voter ID.
