Rowing

Well done to the UoG Rowing Club for their fantastic performances at the BUCS Indoor and Adaptive Rowing Series in Cardiff over the weekend! Strong efforts all around from Mel, Amy, James, and Drew.

  • Amy Friend: 5th Women's Beginner 1000m

  • James Fleetwood: 6th Open Beginner 1000m

  • Drew Bexon: 7th Open Beginner 1000m

  • Mel Cockayne: 4th Women's Championship 2000m, 1st lightweight.

A special shout-out to Heidi, who represented UoG at the prestigious Silver Skiff in Turin, Italy. Competing in an 11km single scull race that draws world-class athletes, including Olympians, Heidi delivered an outstanding 2nd place finish. What an amazing weekend for UoG Rowing!
