UoG Dance Team has had another extremely successful year this past year taking home trophies from all competitions entered in; holding our first ever own competition at Oxstalls and taking the Varsity trophy at Worcester once again! This year is going to be bigger and better than ever with our new choreographers busy creating masterpieces ready for the next competition season!
Whether you're an experienced dancer or just want to try something new we accommodate for all abilities in this team, be it dancing for fun to beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. On Monday we hold a fun dance class open to anyone who wants to come and learn some skills and a new routine, try out some differnt styles of dance and socailise.
Mondays and Tuesdays are when we train our competition teams picked from our auditions, we will also rehearse on the odd Sunday closer to competition period at the start of 2024. The styles we take to competition are ballet, jazz, contemporary, street, tap and wildcard.
Wednesdays we hold socials at Revolution in Cheltenham town at 7:45 with a themed fancy dress each week. These are great fun and are perfect for anyone wanting to socialise, drinkers or nondrinkers you can make friends for life. We will also be holding sober socials!
