Vending machine and canteen prices are way too high. We have long days of physical classes and need access to affordable food.

Hi, thank you to those who have fed this back to us and engaged with the post. There is a catering review today, and Charlotte, your Activities and Opportunities Officer, sits in this space. She is planning to bring this up in the meeting. We will report back to you afterwards. Thanks, Asha

Not to mention the £0.30 additional cost for the takeaway containers that students are charged if they do not bring in their own containers, which is not commuter-friendly.

Hi all, thanks for your comments regarding this! We continue to raise it but there are food increases overall so the catering service is affected by those too. They have... - created some more deals which can be found in all refectory's - The SU have provided Free pasta for students as part of our Cost of Living Campaign - Catering continues to be under review - The SU have worked with the university to provide free toast in all SU spaces as of 28th November. We can provide more updates in due course but hope that helps for now!

Get your cohort and peers to vote on your issue! It must get at least 25 up-votes, and a total of 25 up-votes more than down-votes within 3 months of posting in order to be added to the SU Student Council agenda, otherwise it will be rejected*
