Hello everybody, although I did not apply for course representative last year, I was very active in our criminology group as I wanted to make sure that everybody got the opportunity to speak their piece and I was always willing to help whenever it was need it. The reason why I want to apply for this role is because I always loved being the voice of others who are too anxious or shy to speak up for themselves. If given the opportunity to become a course representative I will listen to any complaints or worries and take any action needed to resolve them.  I will work hard on having effective discussions with our lecturers to make sure our student body are provided with the correct support we need. I also feel like I will be a good voice for our student body as I personally struggle with dyslexia and feel like I will be able to relate to others who have similar disabilities that may affect their learning. I will always stand up for those who need a little extra help in lectures.
