Highlights and Shoutouts

There were great performances across the board this week. Many of our clubs have welcomed brand new players, including students completely new to their sport! It’s brilliant to see them stepping up in their first competitive games.

A standout performance came from our Equestrian team, who secured a smooth-running competition and a strong team third overall. Special congratulations to Lilly Cumber, who took first place individually!

Men’s Football 1s awarded Ben Brown their Man of the Match after a hard-fought draw, while Netball 2s claimed their first win of the season and the Netball 3s kept their winning streak alive. Alex Miamarti pulled off a rare double, taking home both Player of the Match and Players’ Player of the Match for her team.

Both Men’s Rugby League and Men’s Rugby Union have kicked off their seasons in fine form, continuing to build early momentum.

Think Pink

You may have noticed a flash of pink across the pitches this week, many teams wore pink accessories in support of Think Pink, helping to spread awareness for breast cancer.

Team Glos Spirit

The Glos spirit has been out in full force, from the effort on the field to the growing crowds on the sidelines. Whether it’s a win or a loss, it's clear to see it comes easy to be cheesy #ratherbeacheese.
