As an Engineering student I had opportunity to be the IEEE student union member and head of the student's club, that establised a platform to organize international conferences to exhange knowledge and keep students on the front-foot  about latest technologies . Sports activities and yoga practices were introduced and conducted  on weekly basis for students' well being. Amenities such as gym and international refractory were introduced with support of student's club.

I have encountered first-hand challenges faced by international students in this Country and from conversing with other students have identified certain critical issues such as 

* International students sometimes find it difficult to integrate into university life, preventing them to participate and engage in cultural exchange, knowledge sharing etc, which should be the biggest advantage of                    receiving international education. To help international students overcome this many events and cultural exchange programmes will be organised ,Special ethnic events will be conducted.

* The increased yearly fees are a raising concern among the students. Appeal will be made to increase scholarship for international students ,as it will enable more students to pursue their international studies. 

 * Jobs, both part time and full time are always a major concern. This will be addressed on a strong basis , initiative will taken to create more paid job opportunities for international students  via university, more employability sessions      and  job fayre will be conducted on regular basis for various departments. 

 * Another major issue identified is accommodation and food. With increased cost of living in the Uk, students need cheaper accommodation, I'd raise a concern on the same and also  plea will be made to expand the refractory for         availability of authentic foods at cheaper cost for the welfare of all students.
