TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Introduction

1.1  These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by University of Gloucestershire Students’ Union ("the Seller") to you ("the Buyer") via the Seller's website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Ordering

2.1  Orders may be placed online via the Seller's website.

2.2  When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.

2.3  Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between the Seller and the Buyer will occur when the goods are collected by you. 

Payment

3.1  The price of the goods will be as quoted on the Seller's website at the time you place your order. The price includes any applicable VAT.

3.2  Payment must be made at the time of placing your order. Payment can be made using the payment methods specified on the Seller's website.

Collection

4.1  You must collect non–graduation goods from the chosen collection point within 21 days of purchase. You cannot change your collection point after placing your order.

4.2  The two available collection points are Park Campus on a Thursday and Oxstalls Campus on a Tuesday. Full details of collection points and times can be found on our website.

4.3  We cannot sell or exchange items at the dedicated collection points. All new/replacement orders must be made through the website.

4.4  Graduation merchandise can be collected on the day of your graduation ceremony at the Racecourse from the Students’ Union merchandise stand.

4.5  You will need to bring your student ID and proof of purhcase to be able to collect your items.

4.6  If you fail to collect the non–graduation goods within 21 days of purchase, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the purchase price to the Buyer. For graduation goods, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the purchase price to the Buyer within 14 days of the end of the graduation ceremony.

Refunds

5.1  You may request a refund within 21 days of collecting your order.

5.2  If you would like to return an item, please email su@glos.ac.uk to let us know that you would like to do so. Please include your name, transaction number, the item(s) name and reason for return on the email.

5.3  Refund requests must be made in person from the collection point, and with a valid receipt. The goods must be returned unworn, with any labels attached when they were collected, and in the same state they were received in.

5.4  Refunds will be made using the same payment method as was used to purchase the goods. Your refund may take up seven working days to show up on your account.

5.5  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Liability

6.1   The Seller's liability for any defect in the goods shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods.

6.2  The Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising out of the sale of the goods.

General

7.1  These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.

7.2  If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

7.3  These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Seller and the Buyer and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
